| Our instructor staff is highly
qualified and enthusiastic about developing and presenting the
type and quality of safety training needed to provide the knowledge
required to perform your increasingly more complex and varied
duties and responsibilities safely. The full time training staff
consists of: |

Larry
Gregg, Certified Safety Professional (CSP),
manages overall course deliveries and scheduling. He serves
as the course manager for many courses and provides counseling
on development and instructional techniques to all instructors.
Mr. Gregg has developed and instructed numerous courses over
the last 16 years, and has assisted in development, revision,
and presentation of many others. His primary areas of expertise
include System Safety, Payload Safety, and Mishap Investigation.
He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma
State University, and an M.B.A. in Management from Golden
Gate University. Mr. Gregg has been a full-time instructor
for NASA since October 1991 following a 20-year career as
an Air Force officer with tours of duty including missile
launch operations and systems development and acquisition
for Air Force advanced missile and space systems. He has taught
classes additionally for the University of Houston at Clear
Lake and for the International Association for the Advancement
of Space Safety. Over the years, he has delivered over 250
courses to nearly over 4,000 NASA students. He was awarded
the Silver Snoopy by the NASA Astronauts for his NASA training
activities and was selected by the System Safety Society as
Educator of the Year for 1997. He currently serves as the
Operating Vice President, Education, for the System Safety
Society. |

Tim
Evans, Certified Safety and Health Official
(CSHO) in both General Industry and Construction, is a full-time
instructor/developer. He has over 30 years experience in industry
on a variety of safety and quality assignments, most including
full- or part-time training responsibilities. He has been
providing instruction for NASA since 1999 as a full-time instructor/developer;
and in that time he has taught over 560 classes for over 10,000
students. Course expertise includes Scaffolding Safety, Fall
Protection, Machine Guarding, Forklift Safety, Overhead Crane
Safety, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Occupational Safety,
Construction Safety and Health, and General Industry Safety
and Health. |

Tom
Torpey is a full-time, staff instructor/developer.
He has a B.S. Degree in Industrial Administration and an M.S.
Degree in Aeronautical Science. He spent 22 years in the US
Air Force as a crewmember, aircraft commander, and instructor
pilot and has 3000 hours of flying time. He has extensive
teaching experience in aviation related areas and human factors
training. In his career as an instructor, he has delivered
training to over 4,000 individuals in a wide variety of disciplines.
He is also an adjunct instructor with Embry Riddle Aeronautical
University. He has been a part-time instructor for NASA since
1995, and joined the staff as a full-time NASA instructor/developer
in 2001. Since that time, he has taught nearly 200 classes
for nearly over 3,100 students. His course expertise currently
includes Aircraft and Space Shuttle Mishap Investigation,
Situational Awareness, Human Factors in Mishap Investigation,
Crew Resource Management, Aircrew Resource Management, and
Maintenance Crew Resource Management, Mishap Investigation,
and Root Cause Analysis. |
